San Francisco, 25 April 2007 – The world's only Cagiva Mito 500 factory prototype and the very first MV Agusta F4 CC will be on display at the forthcoming Legend of the Motorcycle Concours d'Elegance.

Cagiva Mito 500: Introduced as a concept bike at last year's EICMA show in Milan, the Mito 500 debuted to rave reviews as the idea of a larger version of the popular two-stroke Mito 125cc – renown for its light weight and excellent handling – struck a chord with enthusiasts worldwide. Now, the DOHC, single-cylinder, four-stroke, sole factory prototype will be on view at the 2007 Legend of the Motorcycle.
MV Agusta F4 CC: The first model of just one hundred slated for production, serial number 1/100 is owned personally by MV Agusta's Managing Director, Claudio Castiglioni, and will be part of an exclusive, special display of MV Agusta on Concours day. The F4 CC is the dream of Castiglioni and gives new meaning the to the term "functional art." Designed by the legendary Massimo Tamburini, only the finest materials in the world were used on the 1078cc, 200hp machine, which include titanium, carbon fiber and even platinum. As perhaps the most exclusive motorcycle in the world, it carries a price tag of $120,000 USD.

Both motorcycles are being shipped over to the Concours from the MV Agusta SpA headquarters in Varese, Italy.

The second annual Legend of the Motorcycle takes place Saturday May 5th at the ocean-side Ritz-Carlton in Half Moon Bay, California, just south of San Francisco. Tickets for this landmark international event are $50 in advance ($65 on Concours day) and may be purchased through the website at http://www.LegendoftheMotorcycle.com.
